Free Healthy Hot Dog Recipe

As an artist and a diabetic, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen almost as much as I enjoy experimenting with graphic design. I was able to combine the two with this piece. Enjoy!

New Overcome Evil With Good Prints, Totes, Pillows

Sometimes I choose to jump in and start drawing with no particular subject or theme in mind. This allows my subconscious to express whatever it feels a need to. "Overcome evil with good" is a bible passage that is near and dear to my heart. This drawing expresses it in a way far more powerful that I would have created had I started with that theme in mind.
This method of drawing is art therapy for the artist. Elements of art and principles of design that are embedded in us become the tools that allow us to turn subconscious thoughts into visual reality.

How To Eliminate Paper Texture of a Drawing When Printing

Have you ever done a magnificent drawing and when you try to sell it as a print it looks awful because the paper texture and tiny bits of who knows what show up? An easy way to clean up the drawing is to scan it into your computer, if it fits on your scanner, or take a high resolution photograph of it. Open the jpeg in Photoshop and use the magic eraser tool to eliminate the paper background. Be sure to also click the magic eraser tool on any small areas withing the drawing itself that you want to be a smooth white.

Save the image as a jpeg and voila, your drawing is magnificent once again. You can see an example of one of my sketches I used this technique on HERE.
